Abstract Through measurement of morphology and partial physiology indexes of Lycium chinense Mill.,its growing status under different canopy density of Cinnamomum camphora L.were studied. The results showed that, the higher the canopy density was,the better the growth vigor of Lycium chinense Mill.was, and the higher survival rate was. Thus, the contents of chloroplast pigment increased. However, with the increase of canopy density, the contents of soluble sugar decreased.
