Abstract ‘Zhebai No.6’is a new Chinese cabbage F1 hybrid with special eating type of young seedling,which was bred by crossing two self-incompatible lines S99-PB533 and S02-PB658.The plant is vigorous in growth,24 cm in height,20 cm in diameter,light green at outer leaves,white in petiole and without hair.The outer leaf blade is 30.2 cm in length and 18.0 cm in width.The leaves are very tender with a lovely flavor.Single plant weight is about 60 g.The net yield can reach about 36 t·hm-2.It has high resistance to black spot,resistance to virus and downy mildew.It is suitable to be cultivated for the purpose of eating young seedling of Chinese cabbage in the Yangtze River valley,northeastern,northern and southwestern China.
