Abstract Pot experiments were conducted to study the effects of spraying three kinds of copper agents: Bordeaux Mixture(BDM), Kocide2000(KCD), Bordeaux Nutritional Protective Powder(BNPP),on surface of chilli leaves with different concentrations. The results showed that spraying BNPP at certain intervals significantly increased the yield of the chilli, and two different concentrations of BNPP increased the yield by 74.7% and 26.7%, 59.4% and 15.6%, respectively, as compared to the control. Compared with the spraying concentration of 2 g8226;L-1,, the concentration of 1 g8226;L-1, received better results in the treatments. In comparison, the treatments with spraying KCD at different concentrations promoted the growth of chilli as well, though unparalleled with the BNPP. However, the spraying of BDM inhibited the growth of chilli in leaf area and the content of chlorophyl.
