Abstract Zhenjiao No.6 is a middle-late maturing pepper F_1 hybrid developed by crossing self-line Y9012 selected from local hot pepper variety Yangjiaojiao with self-line Y9028 selected from Gansu Jiuquan. The fruit is sheep-horn shaped with length of 16.8 cm,shoulder diameter of 2.5 cm, flesh thickness of 0.2 cm. The average fruit weight is 36.7 g.
