Abstract Exigua No.10 is a new saffron yellow flesh watermelon F_1 hybrid,developed by crossing saffron yellow flesh inbred line W_2-24-3 with yellow flesh inbred line W_2-54-16-8. It takes 27-30 days from flowering to harvest. The fruit is round shaped, green rind with dark-green stripes. Center sugar content is 11 %, the rind is about 1.0 cm. Average fruit weight is 2-3 kg, the yield is about 22.5-30.0 t·hm~-2.It is suitable to be cultivated in Hubei.
