Abstract Lujiang No.1 is bred by system selection from Ningboludai. It can be harvested in 48-61 days after sowing. Its tender pod is green, 58.1 cm in length, 0.72 cm in diameter, 18.6 g in weight, tastes good and crisp. It has stonger resistance to powdery mildew and sooty blotch than Ningboludai. The yield is 30 t·hm~-2, 10 % higher than Ningboludai.
