Abstract This study researched the cutting stems regeneration on the fruit characters，quality and the economic benefit of different kinds Okra〔Abelmoschus esculentus（Linnaeus）Moench〕（‘Taiwanwufu’，‘Lvyangjiao’，‘Dongjingwujiao’，‘Zaoshengwujiao’，‘Okra No.1’，‘Okra No.2’） . The results showed that the cutting stems regeneration technology was 40 days ahead of harvesting and could significant prolong the harvesting period nearly 30 days. In the synthetic features of 6 kinds Okra，the‘ Taiwanwufu’ was the best not only in the yield，fruit quality，but also in the economic benefit，which the income could reached at 8 800-9 750 RMB per 667 m2，and the everyday income at 62.0-68.7 RMB per 667 m2.
