Initial Identification and Sequence Analysis of Melon yellow spot virus on Cucumber in Shouguang Isolates |

Abstract Cucumber leaves infected possibly by Melon yellow spot virus(MYSV) were collected from Shouguang, Shandong Province. These samples were detected by RT-PCR. The amplified products were connected to pEASY -T1 Simple cloning vector and then sequencing was conducted. The results showed that the size of target fragment was 505 bp, which was consistent with the expected result. And homology analysis revealed that
the MYSV infected cucumber in Shouguang had closer genetic relationship with MYSV-Sanya isolates( melon -GQ397254) from Sanya,China and MYSV-TW isolates( watermelon -FJ386391) from Taiwan, China. Their homology could reach 98%.
