Abstract Preliminary sampling investigation on wild vegetable resources in Nyingtri,Tibet was carried out.The results indicated that wild vegetables in Nyingtri were abundant.There were 71 species,belonging to 31 families and 53 genus.They could be divided into 44 kinds of leaf vegetables,10 of stem vegetables,8 of root vegetables,4 of fruit vegetables,2 of flavouring and 3 of other types according to their edible organs.
