Abstract:In order to study on the inheritance of glossy wax-less characteristic,F1,F2,BC1P1 and BC1P2 populations were obtained through crossing,selfing and back-crossing by cabbage(Brassica oleracea L. var. capitata L.)material 10Q-961(glossy wax-less appearance)and 10Q-206(normal wax appearance).The results of χ2 test on the separated proportion preliminarily proved that the trait of glossy wax-less was controlled by one pair of recessive gene.
