Comparison of Genomic DNA Extraction from Helianthus tuberosus L.

Abstract：The genomic DNA was isolated from the leaf of Helianthus tuberosus L．by the improved CTAB method，improved high salt SDS method and 2 genomic DNA kits．The DNA quality was examined by agarose gel electrophoresis and PCR amplification of ISSR．The result showed that the improved CTAB method was obviously better than the others．The DNA sample obtained by the improved CTAB method was pure and had good quality，which could satisfy the need for further ISSR analysis.
