Abstract:Different watermelon(Citrullus lanatus)showed different resistance to Fusarium oxyporum f. sp. niveum.At present,there is not a system,which can accurately identify the infect degree of Fusarium oxyporum.This paper compares the present technology for identifying physiologic races of Fusarium oxyporum f. sp. niveum and summarizes the research progress on Fusarium wilt resistance gene and mechanisms|analyzes the problems existing in watermelon Fusarium wilt resistance breeding and prospects the future for disease resistance breeding.
