Abstract:Glucoraphanin is the bioprecursor of sulforaphane with natural chemopreventive and anticarcinogen
characteristics.Its content is high in cruciferae vegetables,especially in broccoli.Studies on
glucoraphanin have become the hot topics recently.This paper reviews the research progress made at home and
abroad on synthesis,metabolism and genetic characteristics of glucoraphanin.The paper also prospects the
broader application of molecular marker in this area.
