Abstract：‘Dunmi No.1’ is a new muskmelon F1 hybrid developed by crossing 2 inbreed lines ML29 as
female and ML20 as male parent．It is of mid-early maturity. Its growth period takes about 87 days in open field
cultivation. The fruit development period is about 40 days. The plant grows vigorously. Its leaf is dark green in color.
The fruit shape is oval and index is 1.4. The fruit skin is pure white with overlapping curve. Its pulp is light green
in color and the pulp thickness is 3.4 cm. The central soluble solid content is 16.4%. It is suitable for storage and
transportation. The single fruit weight is about 1.5 kg and its average yield is about 33.9 t·hm-2. It is resistant to
melon Fusarium wilt，downy mildew and powdery mildew. It is suitable to be cultivated in Jiuquan and similar
areas of Gansu Province.
