Abstract：‘Xinkexiaobao 26’is a new mid-late maturing Chinese cabbage F1 hybrid bred by crossing self-incompatible line‘Shan 5201’as female parent and self-incompatible line‘J47858’as male parent．Its growth period is about 72 days．The plant is 30-35 cm in height and 60-75 cm in width．Its leaf balls are of stump and overlapping type．The outer leaves are dark green in color，the head center leaves are light yellow in color．The spherical index is 0.89-1.26．The net vegetable rate is over 70%．The soft leaf rate is about 52%．The net weight of a single ball is about 3 kg．The total soluble sugar content is 2.47%，and crude fiber content is 0.62%．In fields，its resistance to virus disease，downy mildew and soft rot is equivalent to that of the contrast variety‘Qinbai No.2’．Its net vegetable yield is about 105 t · hm-2．It is suitable for autumn cultivation in Henan，Hebei，Shanxi，Shandong，Shaanxi areas，where people like Chinese cabbage of stump and overlapping type．
