Compatibility Comparison of Different Pumpkin Rootstocks for Watermelon Grafting#br#

Abstract:Using 29 pumpkin materials as rootstocks and‘Meixiu’as scion,we statistically analyzed 16 traits of different grafting combinations in the healing and symbiosis stages,and screened and classified the rootstocks by membership function analysis based on PCA and cluster analysis.The results indicated that by comparing the two traits of non-wilting rate and fuchsin content at 6 days after grafting,the healing compatibility of 9 rootstocks was stronger,which were ZM4,ZM7,ZM10,ZM11,ZM13,ZM17,ZM22,ZM25 and ZM27.Through the comprehensive evaluation of various traits in the healing and symbiosis stages of different grafting combinations,it was found that the D values of the three materials were high,which were ZM17,ZM11 and ZM22,and could be used as new stock breeding materials.
