Abstract:Potato plantlets were cultured in MS medium with NaCl (0,0.1 %,0.3 %,0.5 %,0.8 %), adding 1 mmol·L -1 silicon or 100 μg·mL -1 proline. It showed that the height and fresh weight of shoot and the length of root decreased significantly under salt stress. The concentration of 0.1 % NaCl could promote the growth of root while the effect disappeared with NaCl concentration increased.
