Abstract：In order to study the effect of wormcast as growing media on plug seedling of tomato, the physical and chemical properties of wormcast from cornstraw and the emergence rate and quality of seedling grown in mixture of wormcast and vermiculite with different ratio were evaluated. The results showed that the wormcast had greater bulk density, smaller water retention, higher concentration of phosphate and potassium and lower rate of nitrogen as compared with peat moss, and wormcast mix could enhance the growth ...
