Abstract：Youkang No.98 is a new Chinese cabbage F_1 hybrid developed by crossing two self-incompatible lines BN-3-02 and A0068. The growth period is 85 days. The plant is dark green with overlapping leaves, and high ratio of blade to petiole. It has high resistance to black rot, and resistance to virus and downy mildew. It yields 75 t·hm~-2,and is suitable to be cultivated in North China and the northwest of China.
