Abstract：Kebao is a newly developed insecticide mixture composed of imidacloprid and abamectin. Results of field trials showed that both microemulsion and emulsifiable concentration formulations of Kebao had pronounced effectiveness against the yellow thorax thrips Thrips hawaiiensis(over 96 % ) and T, flavus( above 90 % ) at concentrations of 800- and 1 000-fold dilutions, respectively.
