Abstract：Bilu is a new bitter gourd F 1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred line 7 with Bing 301. The fruit is long conicform, light green in colour, 24.0-28.0cm in length,6.3cm in diameter,and average fruit weight is 0.29kg. Its yield is 52.5t·hm -2 ,it is tolerant to cold and middle resistant to fusarium wilt.
