Abstract：cucumber is a new F 1 hybrid developed by crossing line 88 26 with 88 05. Its plant grows vigorously with high resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew and with tolernace to Fusarium wilt and virus. It yields 75t·hm 2 in spring. Average fruit is about 35cm in length. Fruits are dark green,sweet and crispy with high marketable percentage. It is suitable for spring open cultivation in north China.
