Abstract：Toxicity test and field control of Avermectin + Beta- cypermethrin against Plutella xylostella were conducted. The results i ndicated that this compound pesticide showed high level activity to P.xylostella， the LC_(50) was 0.59mg·L~(-1) and cotoxicity c oefficient was 142.14. In pot test，the control efficiency was over 85% and residual activity lasted 10 days at concentration of 5mg·L~(-1) .
