Abstract：The new spring cabbage F 1 hybrid — ‘Qiangan No.2’,was bred by crossing two self incompatible lines,g 47 4 3 7 2 and E 4 2 45 1 . It has green outerleaf,flat and tight head,short central post,early maturing,to lerance to bolting before maturity,high yield and nice quality. It is suitable for cultivation in Guizhou province and other region with similar climate to Guizhou. Key words Tolerance to bolting, Spring cabbage, Qiangan No.2, F 1 Hybrid, Breedingievements.
