Abstract:The experiment on effect of soil water on blotchy ripening in tomato fruit was conducted with variety Jiafen No.10 in greenhouse. The results indicated that incidence and index of blotchy ripening in tomato fruit were increased at high level of soil water (>16%) for a long time,and high level of water in soil could result in underdeveloping of roots and decreasing of root activity.
