Abstract： Danjiao No.2’ is a new pepper F 1 hybrid by crossing two inbred lines of CP 1 and CP 2. It has an early maturity and high resistance to pepper diseases. Fruits are blocky with dark green colour,thick wall and good taste. The early yield is 18t·hm -2 and total yield is 61.5t·hm -2 . It is suitable to be grown in protected field and has been extended to Liaoning,Jilin,Chifeng,Xinjiang,etc. with total area of 1400hm 2.
