Abstract:Xin Huluobu No.1 is a new carrot variety selected in ten years from natural hybrid progeny of local variety. The growth of the variety is vigorous. The fleshy root is cylind rical,14 16cm long,and 4 5cm wide and 120 140g. The cuticular,texture and centrum all are orange red. The texture of root is crisp and contains moderate moisture. It is suitable for fresh edible and processing. The average yield was 64.5t·hm -2 . It was grown over 200hm 2 in Xinjiang,Shanxi and Sichuan.
