Abstract：Laboratory and field trials were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of imidacloprid to control Greenhouse whitefly. The field effectivenesses of 40～80mg/L of 20% imidacloprid at 1～15 days were 75.6%～96.5%,which were significantly higher than that of 100mg/L of 20% fenpropathrin. Imidacloprid showed stronger toxicity to Greenhouse whitefly than fenpropathrin. Its LC50 was only 1/100 of fenpropathrin s.
