Abstract:There were 19 genotypes of Red tsai tai ( B. Campestris ssp. Chinensis var. Purpurea Hort. ) to be used in this experiment. Excised leaflet tissues were treated with various low temperatures. After measuring the percentage of electrolyte leakage,cell membrane injury percentage (MIP) was calculated. Then using the relationship of MIPs and temperatures to coincide Logistic equation,the inflexion point temperatures (IPT) were made out and were used to estimate the lethal low temperatures (LLT).
