Abstract：The results showed that during the growth and development of white pod asparagus bean (WB) and green pod asparagus bean (GB),the growth trends of plant and its organs (root,stem,leaf and pod) appeared in S curve. The growth and leaf area of WB was larger than GB. During vegetative growth,net assimilation ratio (NAR) was low,and increased during reproductive growth.NAR of GB was a little higher than WB.
