Abstract：Eggplant F1 hybrid ‘Jinshan Long’ was developed from ‘Gutian Purple×Taiwan Early’ according to the differences of isozyme and agronomic traits between parents. It has compact plant type,early maturation,high yield and fine resistance. The peel is purplishred and thinner. The pulp is white with a few seeds. It is suitable to grow in spring and autumn to the south of the Yangtze River. The weight of single fruit was 150200g. And average yield was 4552t/hm2. The highest was 78t/hm2.
