Abstract：Cucumber F_1 hybrid Zhongnong No. 8 was selected by crossing with good inbred No. 211 and No. 273. The fruits are dark green without yellow stripe, tender crisp and with good commercial characteistics. The F_1 hybrid can resist downy mildew, powdery mildew and Fusarium wilt. The yield is 6～9.2t/ha, and with relatively stable production. That is suitable for open field production in spring and fall season and can be grown in different locations all over the country.
