Abstract:This paper summarizes the research work in using mycorrhizal fungi to promote strawberry(Fragaria ananassa Duch.)absorption and utilization of mineral nutrients, to stimulate plant growth, improve quality, enhance disease and stress resistance. It discusses about the problems existing in present research and prospects the utilization of mycorrhizal fungi. It also points out that further research should be conducted on isolation and identification of strawberry mycorrhizal fungi, screening of broad spectrum bacterial strains, preparation and utilization of microbial inoculums, etc.
