Abstract：‘Jiayu’is a new bitter gourd F1 Hybrid developed by crossing predominant female line 24-k and inbred line 2-W.It has early maturity.The first female flower is set at 8 th～12th nodes，the rate of female flowers is high and the fruit setting ability is strong.The fruit is spindle-shaped with 26～32 cm in length，7～9 cm in diameter，1.1 cm in flesh thickness.The pericarp is light green and shiny.Its flesh is crispy and tasted medium bitter.The single fruit weight is about 400 g.It can yield about 39 t•hm-2.It is suitable to be cultivated in Fujian，Guangdong，Jiangxi，Hubei and Sichuan.
