Abstract：‘Jinghong No.3’is a new autumn radish F1 hybrid bred by crossing male sterile line R01A with male fertile line R5. The root is of round shape with 15.0 cm in length and 13.5 cm in diameter. The root skin is red in color and the internal flesh is crystal white with good edible flavor. The plants are outspreading phyllome with few leaves and lobed leaflets. It takes 70-80 days from sowing to maturity. It has higher resistant to virus and soft rot than‘Hongfeng No.1’, and suitable for autumn growing. The glucosinolates content in root is 480.9 μmol?kg-1（FW）, which is nearly two fold higher than that of the control. Its yield in open field is about 75 t?hm-2. It has been extended to Beijing, Hebei and Liaoning Provinces for 66.7 hm2.
