Abstract:In order to rapidly and effectively screen germplasm resources resistant to potato virus Y,and speed up the breeding process of new potato varieties resistant to virus,this experiment screened progenies from 9 potato hybridized combinations of processing type introduced from USA using PVY resistant gene molecular marker;and identified/evaluated the prediction accuracy of molecular marker by PVY artificial inoculation.The results showed that among 852 lines in 9 hybridized combinations,163 lines from 4 combinations contained RYSC3 molecular marker with resistant gene Ryadg,accounting for 19.13%;330 lines in 7 combinations contained YES3-3A molecular marker with resistanct gene Rysto,accounting for 38.73%.Among them,2 kinds molecular marker were simultaneously detected in 42 lines from 2 combinations.The results of PVY resistance identification by artificial inoculation showed that 92.73% of the lines containing molecular marker were resistant to PVY after inoculation.28.57% of the lines without molecular marker showed sensitivity to PVY after inoculation.RYSC3 and YES3-3A molecular markers with PVY resistance genes could more accurately identify potato resources resistant to PVY.These 2 molecular markers were helpful for early selection and breeding of potato germplasm resources resistant to PVY.At the same time,this experiment obtained 10 potato germplasm resources of processing type with high and stable production and resistant to PVY.These results had provided parent materials for breeding new potato varieties of processing type and yet resistant to PVY.
