Abstract：Facility vegetable is the main form of vegetable production in Beijing and plays an important role in ensuring vegetables supply for capital city．This paper summarized the present status of facility vegetable industry in Beijing，and changing trend from 2010 to 2021．The paper also analyzed the problems existed in facility vegetable industry，being facilities，seedling culture，mechanization，technical system，socialized services，employee，etc.；and challenges confronting vegetable self-sufficient，industrial land use，and safety production，etc．The paper suggested to implement facility upgrading project and classified subsidies；promote the socialized service level of facility vegetable industry；increase facilities and equipment；support agricultural machinery research and development；strengthen research on key technologies for green development；and do a good job in pilot work for facility agricultural land use．
