Abstract：Sweet-waxy maize is an important direction for developing fresh-eating maize．The sweetwaxy double recessive maize inbred line is an important material for preparation of new sweet-waxy maize varieties．Through creating superior waxy maize inbred line by local waxy maize germplasm in Guangxi；and breeding sweet-waxy double recessive maize material by pedigree method and grain iodine coloration method，this study succeeded in breeding 3 excellent sweet-waxy double recessive maize inbred lines，namely ‘GTL270’，‘GSL121’ and ‘GSL125’，which were utilized to prepare another 3 new combination of fresheating sweet-waxy maize with high yield and superior quality．This combination was examined and approved by Guangxi，thus enriched the market of sweet-waxy maize in Guangxi．
