Abstract：‘Chunshu No.12’is a new fresh and starch processing potato variety selected through
systematic selection with‘78-11-7’as female parent and‘Jizhangshu No.8’as male parent．It is of
medium-late maturity．Its growth period is about 89 days．The plant is of up-right type，and average height of 65 cm．Its tuber is of oval-shaped，large and uniform，with slightly rough and few eyes．The skin is yellow and the fl esh is light yellow．The rate of marketable tubers is high．The content of dry matter is 24.95%，content of starch is 19.30%，and the content of crude protein is 1.66%．It is resistant to storage and transport，and resistant to PVX and PVY．It can yield about 45 t · hm-2．It is suitable for spring planting in Jilin，Heilongjiang Province and eastern Inner Mongolia．
