Abstract：Effects of 5 thermal conservation materials in the small plastic shed under 4 different climate conditions: snowing, overcast, sunny and cloudy were studied. The results indicated that the different thermal conservation materials have remarkable effects on the temperature in the small plastic shed. Compared with other treatments, the non-woven fabrics with film, type of the 40 g•m-2 had the best effect in maintaining inner temperature, and the CK (PVC) had the worst. Compared with air temperature, soil temperature changed more slowly during one day. The deeper soil layer, the slower soil temperature changed, but in the shallow soil layer, the sharper temperature changed. Soil temperature changed slowly along with the increasing of soil depth. The time for the highest temperature appearance in various soil layers will delay along the increase of soil depth.
