Abstract:Through inoculating larva into the sterilized soil with Meloidogyne incognita, this paper observes infection and resistance to root-knot nematodes of different rootstocks and self-root after grafting. The results indicate: after grafting with ‘Caihong101’, the plant trunk has stronger resistance to root-knot nematodes and even reach the degree of immunity. No root knots were found in the other two rootstocks. But the grafted self-root system was infected by root-knot nematodes and a huge cell was formed around the worm. The inoculated root-knot nematodes stimulated the harmonious responses of the protective enzymes, the activity of the protective enzymes were higher in the two rootstocks which have better resistance to root-knot nematodes.
