Abstract： The arcticle studied the effect of different Welsh onion varieties grown in low tunnel in winter.Results indicated that Welsh onion grew slowly in winter,Zhangqiudacong had even displayed negative growth.Winterness of different varieties had significant differences.Bolting of Chunwei had not taken place until harvesting,and the bolting rates of Tianxi and Zhangqiudacong had reached 42.6 % and 81.0 % respectively.The yield of Yuanzang and Chunwei reached 52.5 t·hm~(-2),which was 540 % higher than Zhangqiudac...
