| Effect of Nano-devices on Lettuce Growth and Quality |

Abstract Lettuce（Lactuca sativa L. ） was used as material for investigating the effects of different
treatment times（0 h，2 h，8 h，24 h）of nano-devices on growth and quality．The results indicated that the
shoot fresh weight and dry weight of T3 treatment（24 h）were increased by 14.57% and 22.48%，respectively，
but T1 treatment（2 h）and T2 treatment（8 h）treatments had no significant effects．Compared with the
control，there were no significant differences on stem width and root and shoot ratio between 3 treatments．But
in treatment T3，the leaf blade numbers were increased significantly，the contents of soluble sugar and flavonoid
of lettuce were increased，the content of soluble protein decreased slightly．The contents of nitrate decreased
obviously with the increase of treatment time. The decreasing ampitude is 2.05%-62.14%．Under this experiment
conditions，the 24 h treatment time of nano-devices has the best effect for improving lettuce growth and quality．
