Abstract Dabao is a new early maturity watermelon F_1 hybrid developed by crossing female parent 347 with male parent 355. It is middle resistant to Fusarium wilt. The fruit is high resistant to cracking, with sugar content of 9.5 %-10.0 %. It is suitable for transportation and can be grown in open or protected field in early spring.
