Abstract The effect of temperature, temperature difference between day and night, scattered light on anlage forming of Pleurotus cystidiosus and the influence of temperature on the fruitbody characters, yield and biological efficiency were carried out. The results indicated that the optimum range of temperature and temperature difference for Pleurotus cystidiosus anlage formation were 25-30 ℃ and 5-10 ℃ respectively.
