Abstract Zhongshu No.6 is a new Chinese cabbage F 1 hybrid developed by crossing male-sterility line 98-2-1 with inbred line F-3-2-3 bred from cultivar Fengkang 70 by selfcrossing for many generations. It is high resistant to downy mildew, virus and soft rot. The head is overlapping, round and ovate. It can be harvested in 60-65 days after sowing . The average weight of single head is about 2.0 kg. It yields 60-75 t·hm -2 in South China.
