Abstract The effect of different plastic film mulch on growth and yield of potato were studied. The result indicated that black film, spectrum transformation film, and colorcomnination film mulch all had better effect on reducing soil temperature than the control, and which the spectrum transformation film was the best one, followed by the colorcomnination film.
