Abstract Zizania aqutica L. is called wild water bamboo root, belongs to Gramineae. Its root is fibrous system. Its stalk consists of upper ground part and under ground part. The leaf consists of sheath and blade. It has cone shaped anthotaxy. It develops new buds and roots in spring. The growth rate accelerates with temperature increasing.
