Abstract The new mini fruit watermelon F1 hybrid Jingxiu is early maturity with 26 - 28 days from pollination to maturity, grows vigorously and has high capacity for setting fruits. The fruit is oval and green color with thin deep green stripes. Average fruit weight is 1.5 -2.0 kg. The red flesh is crisp and has excellent taste and flavor with 13 % soluble sugar content.
