Abstract The phenotypic and genotypic correlations of 11 agronomic characters were studied with 14cultivars of Tsai hsin. The results showed that the phenotypic correlations were lower than genetic correlations. The genetic correlation coefficients between flower stalk weight and flower stalk width in diameter,leaves number,blade weight,petiole weight and plant height were very significant,r=0.994 ** ,0.982 ** ,0.965 ** ,0.913 ** and 0.632 *,respectively.
